Spring is here! Well, it’s supposed to be here. It still is a tad chilly in Minnesota, but according to the calendar, spring is officially here.
So what do people do in the spring? Well, there are the common activities, ride bikes, clean the houses, chase those “dagum, no-good hooligans off your property”. But another popular hobby that starts up in the spring, is gardening. And while my thumb is anything but green, I can appreciate a beautiful flower bed. But what if you don’t have a ton of room for flowers? Then you can make this rustic Three-Tiered Planter.
The 3-Tiered Planter is not a difficult project at all, and can be done in an afternoon. All you need to build is three simple boxes, and four legs to attach the boxes to. Depending on where you put the planter can determine what type of wood you use, but for this one, we used the common outdoor wood, cedar. And presto! You have yourself a Three-tiered planter that all your friends and family will be jealous about. They’ll probably try to steal it.
If this looks like a project you want to try, but don’t know how to get started, come on over to American Workshop, where we will be hosting a FREE demo on how to build the Three-Tiered Planter on Saturday April 9th. At the demo, you can ask us any question on how to build your own planter. Any question you want. Seriously. You can ask us why the sky is blue if you want. We may look at you strangely and give you a completely wrong answer, but feel free to ask!
